CALL FOR APPLICATIONS STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMME UNDER THE ERASMUS+ KA171

The University of Lay Adventists of Kigali (UNILAK) and Universidade da Coruña (UDC) in Spain invite applications through the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor – Academic and Research to participate in a Student Exchange Programme under the ERAMUS+ KA171 Programme at Universidade da Coruña (UDC) in Spain.

ELIGIBILITY

The applicant should:

To be eligible to apply for an exchange, the UNILAK student must:

1. Have a current enrolment at the University;
2. Have successfully completed at least one semester of study;
3. Have provided an academic recommendation from an appropriate faculty member, and a statement of purpose;
4. Be socially, psychologically, and intellectually fit for an exchange programme;
5. Provide medical report attesting good
6. A record of proper conduct; and
7. No outstanding financial
8. Minimum Second Class Upper and minimum aggregate of 80 percent with no retakes. Final-year students do not qualify for exchange programmes.
9. Applicants with the highest cumulative grade points are most likely to be considered before others.

PROGRAMME DETAILS

• 5-months study period at Universidade da Coruña (UDC) in Spain from December 2025 to June 2026
• The programme covers a monthly allowance and a travel allowance
• At the end of the mobility period, the student shall submit a report of work undertaken with Universidade da Coruña (UDC) in Spain
• The programme also exposes students to a different academic culture and offers a chance to establish professional networks with colleagues in the partner institution.

• Individual Research project with an exchange program in Spain with a maximum length of 2000 characters (spaces included) specifying:

– Title of the proposed research

– Preferred theme from program

– supported themes

– Background and motivation that includes clear statement of research objectives and hypotheses where applicable

– Proposed methodology and Description of data source(s)

– If applicable, a summary of any preliminary results

– The proposed timeline for the research

– References (not included in the 2000 characters)

• Motivational letter
• Support letter signed by the Dean of Faculty
• Three reference letters
