UNILAK’s Unity and Resilience Club Expands to Local Secondary Schools

On January 27, 2025, Members of the Unity and Resilience Club of UNILAK Nyanza Campus visited Maranatha, ESPANYA and TSS Kavumu secondary schools, launching new chapters of the club to promote unity, resilience, and teamwork among students.

The initiative aims to empower young learners with skills to navigate challenges, resolve conflicts peacefully, and strengthen social bonds. During the visit, university students engaged secondary school students in interactive sessions on leadership, effective communication, and problem-solving strategies.

“This initiative is about equipping students with the mindset and skills to work together, overcome obstacles, and create a more cohesive school environment,” said a representative from the club.

The newly established clubs at these secondary schools will continue to receive mentorship from UNILAK students, fostering a culture of unity and resilience within the secondary school communities.

The Unity and Resilience Club at UNILAK remains committed to expanding its outreach and inspiring the next generation to embrace teamwork and perseverance.
