UNILAK Signs Five-Year Scientific Collaboration Agreement with Alexander Moisiu University Durrës, Albania

UNILAK has officially entered into a strategic partnership with Alexander Moisiu University Durrës (AMU) of Albania, marking a significant step towards strengthening scientific cooperation and academic exchange between the two institutions.

The five-year agreement, is aimed at fostering the development of scientific relations through collaborative research, joint academic programs, exchange of faculty and students, and the organization of international conferences and workshops. The partnership also paves the way for the sharing of academic resources and best practices in education, research, and innovation.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, the Vice Chancellor of UNILAK expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that it aligns with the university’s mission to expand its global academic footprint. “This collaboration with Alexander Moisiu University Durrës is a testament to our commitment to internationalization and knowledge sharing. We believe that through this partnership, both institutions will benefit immensely from diverse perspectives and joint initiatives,” he said.

The agreement is initially valid for five years, with provisions for renewal based on mutual consent and the success of the implemented programs.

Representatives from Alexander Moisiu University Durrës also welcomed the agreement, highlighting the importance of building bridges between European and African higher education institutions. They emphasized that the collaboration would enhance cross-cultural understanding and scientific innovation in key fields of mutual interest.

This partnership adds to UNILAK growing list of international collaborations and reflects its dedication to providing a globally engaged learning environment for its students and faculty.
