Professor of Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence)
Prof. Oyeleye Christopher Akinwale attended Ibadan Municipal Government Primary School (IMG), Agugu, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria from 1976 to 1982. He thereafter attended the Prestigious Lagelu Grammar School, Agugu, Ibadan between 1982 and 1987. He attended Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria for his B.Tech (Computer Science-1997), Master of Business ADMINISTRATION (NBA) - in 2015, Master of Technology (Computer Science - in 2016, and Doctor of Philosophy (Computer Science) PhD – 2012. He became a Professor (Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence)) in October 1, 2020.

Prof. Christopher A. OYELEYE is a member of the Computer Professionals (Registration Council) of Nigeria (CPN), Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). He is the Immediate Past Chairman (IPC) Chairman of NCS, Oyo State Chapter, the current Vice-Chairman of LAGSOBA ’82/87 and a one-time National Assistant Secretary of Lagelu Grammar School Old Boys Association (LAGSOBA). He is the pioneer Head of the Department of Information Systems of the Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria.

He has supervised more than twenty-two (22) Students at both Masters and PhD levels. He has to his credit more than forty-five (45) Scholarly publications (conference proceedings, local and international journals ). He is happily married with children.

For several years, he has been involved in the training of participants in several workshops and Training programmes in Computing, and social management Sciences. He was awarded the best paper presenter in September 2014 by the International Journal of Computer Science and Engineering, UK. He is currently on the programme of Nigeria Technical Aid Corps (NTAC) year 2024-2026, to Kigali, Rwanda, East Africa.
