Prof. Anthony Uwaya, Head of Partnerships at UNILAK, held an official visit to Egypt on April 8th, as part of the university’s strategic efforts to expand international collaborations in the health sector. During his visit, Prof. Uwaya held high-level meetings with Prof. Ashraf Hatem, former Minister of Health and current President of the Health Affairs Committee in Egypt’s Parliament, and Mr. Mahmoud Alkashef, Senior Manager of Government Affairs.
The visit is aimed at building strong bilateral partnerships in support of the proposed Faculty of Public Health & Nursing at UNILAK. The discussions focused on academic exchange, faculty development, and joint research opportunities that will enhance the quality and impact of health education in the region.
