Prof. Vlad Alex Vernygora, presently Vice-Rector for International Affairs at Khazar University. He is also a Professor of Law. He is also a Director of the Institute of Asia-Pacific and African Studies, Khazar University. He was the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Fiji in the Republic of Estonia. 

He holds the following,  University of Lapland (Finland), DSocSc in International Relations, Te Wānanga o Raukawa (New Zealand), Level 4, Māori Protocol and Language, the University of Canterbury (New Zealand), MA in European Studies. the University of Canterbury (New Zealand), BA in European Studies, Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University (Ukraine), Specialist of Law (pre-Bologna Degree).
