Law students from UNILAK visited forensic services at RFI

On Friday, December 8th, 2023 a group of law students from the University of Lay Adventists of Kigali (UNILAK) conducted a study visit to the Forensic Investigations Institute (RFI).

The visit aimed to deepen the students’ understanding of forensic services and their pivotal role in delivering justice.

During their visit, the students were warmly welcomed and engaged in a comprehensive presentation on the various facets of forensic services.

They gained insights into the critical applications of these services in the realm of justice service delivery, broadening their perspectives on the intersection of law and scientific investigation.

Moreover, the students were privileged to tour different laboratories at RFI, offering them firsthand experience of the cutting-edge technologies employed in the institute’s day-to-day operations.

This exploration enabled them to witness the practical applications of forensic technologies, further enhancing their comprehension of how these tools contribute to investigative processes and the judicial system.
