We equip students with managerial skills in three campuses of UNILAK namely Kigali campus located in Kigali city, Rwamagana campus in Eastern Province and Nyanza campus in southern province. The Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management has six Departments namely Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, Cooperative Management and Accounting and Marketing. The Faculty has 40 full time academic staff supported by part time lecturers who mainly contribute in connecting academic programs with industry.
In addition, the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management accommodates business incubation centre that provides a wide range of services including students’ support in generating and developing business ideas to be transformed into prototypes serving as a bridge between the academia and the industry. The Faculty is also involved in cooperative development activities through provision of different services including trainings to cooperative managers and members.
Our mission is to promote excellent quality teaching, research, and service to the community. Graduates from the Faculty are outfitted with practical skills which tackle national and international interests. They are expected to be change promoters through different skills gained from their different Departments within the Faculty.
