Isaac Olajide AREO is a Senior Lecturer of Environmental Resource Management from the University of Abuja, School of Geography and Atmospheric Science. He was born on 23RD of August 1983 at Jos, Plateau State fondly known as the home of peace and tourism. He hailed from Ogbomosho North Local Government Area of Oyo State. He had his primary education at the famous First Baptist Private School Ring Road Jos, (1988-1994), and later attended Nasarawa Baptist Academy Jos (1994-2000) for his secondary education. He proceeded with his higher education at Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) (2002-2006), where he obtained his Bachelor of Science (B. Sc; Geography).

AREO, later attended the Federal University of Technology (FUT) Minna, Niger State (2008-2011) where he obtained Masters in Technology (M. TECH; Environmental Management); after his compulsory National Youth service corps in Kogi State In 2019 his academic pursuit and research was crowned with a Doctorate degree (Ph.D; Environmental Resource Management) from Nasarawa State University Keffi.

Isaac Olajide AREO, have served in the academia for a decade in University of Abuja during which he served as the departmental exam officer for the 10 years, equipment officer, Departmental Examination Board member, Postgraduate Board member, Plagiarism check officer, Faculty Board member, Investment officer of the university branch of Academic Staff Union of Universities. He is a member of Association of Nigerian Geographers and Nigerian Environmental Society. His wealth of experiences caught across the following courses he has taught and is still teaching: Introduction to Map Work, Geography of Federal Capital Territory Abuja, Map Analysis, Environmental Science, Elementary Statistics for Geographers I, Elementary Statistics for Geographers II, Introduction to Biogeography, Remote Sensing, Hydrology, Biogeography, Vegetation and Ecosystem as well as Environmental Resource Management. Courses currently taught include: Ecotourism and Sustainable Development, Pedology and Climatology, Phyto-techniques, Zoo-Techniques Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Hazard and Mitigation.

Isaac Olajide AREO’s area of specialization has always spans through Environmental Resource Management (ERM) with key interest in vegetation, soil and water as it relates to Biosphere. This can be traced in his local and online publications. These have afforded him opportunity to serve and undertake projects, trainings and workshops.
