
Dr. Haphsat Ibrahim Modibbo
Dr. Haphsat Ibrahim Modibbo is a Senour Lecturer at UNILAK, Nyaza Campus, Rwanda, Faculty of Economic Science and Management, Department of Human Resource Management, Lectured in Public Administration, Project Management, Environmental Agriculture and Rural Development, and Emergency and Disaster Management. Dr. Haphsat Ibrahim Modibbo is a highly-motivated and results orientated scholar within the academia, she has a proven track record of providing exemplary teaching, research and consultancy services to a broad range of institutions, including universities, research firms and community service organizations. Dr. Haphsat Ibrahim Modibbo is a specialist in disaster risk reduction and adaptation to climate change, with particular expertise in rural livelihoods, community-based adaptation, and in vulnerability analysis for disaster risk reduction (DRR). She has pioneered the understanding of vulnerability analysis and social protection in the context of disasters as part of frameworks for risk reduction and adaptation to climate change. Dr. Haphsat Ibrahim Modibbo is results-driven Project Manager and Educator. Develops and implements solutions. Experienced in partnering with business executives and working with businesses process owners to achieve project objectives. Teaching Undergraduate and Post Graduate: Introduction to Public Sector Reform Management, Fundamentals of Project Management to Project Management in Practice Graduate: Project Selection and Initiation, Project Planning, and Project Plan and Implementation.
Dr. Haphsat Ibrahim Modibbo an Assistant Director in the Veterinary Medicine and Allied Products Unit at National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) Headquarter Abuja, Nigeria. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science (Agricultural Economics and Extension Services), Master’s in Public Administration, Master of Science in Public Administration, Post graduate Diploma in Agricultural Extension and Management, Post graduate Diploma in Business Administration, Post Graduate Diploma in Education, Post graduate Diploma in Peace Conflict and Management and a Certificate course in Computer. Currently Undergoing Studies of Mater of Science in Agriculture (Animal Science) and has a Ph.D in Public Administration.
She did the one-year mandatory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) with the Defund Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF) in 1997/1998 Session. She began her Civil Service Career as a Regulatory officer 11 at NAFDAC and rose to the present position.
Dr Haphsat worked in so many directorates such as former Establishment Inspectorate Directorate (EID), Technical Services (TS) under the Director General’s Office, back to Food safety and Applied (Nutrition (FSAN) then Drug Monitoring and Evaluation Directorate (DER) and there after Posted to Veterinary Medicine and Allied Products (VMAP) as the Unit Head in 2013.
As a Unit Head, she held the position of increasing responsibility at VMAP and has coordinated the office very well professionally. She is a Professional member of Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFST), a Fellow of Institute of Management and Public Administrators, Fellow/ Vice President 11 of Environmental Management and Disaster Risk Reduction Institute of Nigerian and a Board Member (EMDRRIN).
Dr Haphsat Ibrahim Modibbo has held so many posts from Primary School To date, received Commendations and Awards of Excellence in discharging her duties. She has attended so many National and International Trainings. Dr Haphsat Ibrahim Modibbo has done lots of Publications in both National and International Journals. A Principal Founder of AHMED GALADIMA FOUNDATION (NON-Governmental Organization) aimed at Peace Education Initiatives, Support Women, Youth and the Less Privileged through skills and Agriculture, Drug Abuse and Drug Misuse with An Awardee of Nigerian Most Notable Female Advocate, A Peace Ambassador of Nigeria.
Dr Haphsat Ibrahim Modibbo is happily Married with Children. Hobbies: Reading and Research, Helping women/ Youth and Less privilege through mentoring and Travelling.
